UGA practice report: Updates as Missouri week begins

After a day with plenty of rain in Athens, the Georgia football team took advantage of its indoor practice facility to go indoors for its Monday workout.

Still not spotted during the seven or so minutes of media viewing time were two players that did not go last week to Vanderbilt: defensive tackle Trenton Thompson (sprained MCL) and inside linebacker Reggie Carter (undisclosed).

Georgia is already missing inside linebacker Natrez Patrick, who is expected to serve a four-game suspension. He is practicing.

Other tidbits:

—Offensive guard Solomon Kindley was working with the first-team at right guard after leaving the Vanderbilt win Saturday with an apparent ankle injury.

—Wide receiver Javon Wims had a wrap on his right hand, but was practicing with the rest of his position group.

—The team practiced in shorts. It was 75 outside and 73 inside.

There’s a chance of storms during practice so going indoors will avoid that disruption.

—A scout from the Tennessee Titans was on hand.
