Georgia tallied a 196.700 and took fourth at the SEC Championships in Jacksonville, Fla. Saturday.
LSU won the SEC title with a 198.075. Florida (197.825) and Alabama (197.400) took second and third, respectively.
Georgia opened with a 49.050, led by a 9.8250 by junior Vivi Babalis, on floor. The Gymdogs tallied a 49.125 on vault, a 49.250 on bars and capped the meet with a 49.275 on beam. Senior Ashlyn Broussard led the Gymdogs with a 9.9 on beam. She also tallied a 9.850 on vault.
Sophomore Sydney Snead scored 9.9s on vault and bars. Senior Lauren Johnson also scored a 9.9 on bars.
LSU’s Ashleigh Gnat notched a perfect 10 on vault. Florida’s Alex McMurtry scored a 39.700 on the all-around.
Teams will compete in the NCAA Regionals next week.
