Athens-Clarke County police on Wednesday identified a man found dead beneath a train trestle near downtown.
Officers located Felma Turner, 67, at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday under the trestle near Whistlebury Condos on North Avenue. They responded to a call of a discovered dead body from a police dispatcher.
The Athens-Clarke County coroner’s office determined that Turner died of natural causes, according to a police news release.
Police described Turner as 5-foot-9, but weighing less than 100 pounds.
