The Athens Clarke County Library’s Teen Services Department will offer free after-school tutoring for middle and high school students starting Wednesday.
Tutoring will take place once a week on alternating Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-6 p.m. Tutoring will also be available every third Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Volunteer tutors from the University of Georgia and Piedmont College will be available to help teens with homework plus any other challenging material, including ACT and SAT preparation.
This program is open to students between the ages of 11-18 (grades 6 through 12). Free registration is required. Teens can sign up for tutoring at the Teen Services desk.
