Water’s Edge Woods, a Comer-based business which plans to open a new showroom in Falls of Oconee shopping center off Old Macon Highway, recently announced it has also installed a new website that allows customers to order wood products online.

“We are excited to be taking the majority of our products online and to make the process easier for our customers,” said Andrew Dittmeier, co-owner and president of Water’s Edge Woods. “With the new design, clean layout, and shopping capabilities, we know this will better serve our mission of bringing the beauty of wood to more people.”

The new website provides users with all price options, the ability to select different finishes, and review exact measurements, according to a news release from the company.

The website also offers educational videos on products and installation, and hosts a “News” section featuring industry trends and company updates.

The company provides specialty woods for craftsmen in the area and has its own woodworking shop. A company spokesman said the business is known for its fireplace mantels, tongue and groove products, and custom furniture.

Website viewers can now find a photo library filtered by project category, along with an exclusive trades program.

“Due to the complicated nature of shipping our products, not every product we offer can be bought on the website, but everything does have clear, upfront pricing and we generate a quick, custom shipping quotes for clients with one email,” Dittmeier said.

Visitors can view the website at watersedgewoods.com.
