Lavonia man reported for urinating in front of Athens restaurant

A 58-year-old Lavonia, Georgia, man was arrested Friday after a manager of Subway on Prince Avenue complained he was urinating in front of the business, Athens-Clarke County police said. The manager wanted to have the man barred from Subway, but while an officer was filling out the barring paperwork he began to yell and ignored orders to stop.

He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and urinating in public.

The arresting officer noted on an incident report that the man was very intoxicated when he had contact with him earlier in the day.
