Three charged with cocaine possession in downtown Athens

An officer on foot in Bethel Midtown Village apartments in downtown Athens early Friday morning saw a car with three people inside. The officer spoke with the driver and a passenger and determined one had an active warrant in Clarke County. Upon searching the driver, the officer found a glass pipe and a small straw.

The officer searched the car, found two baggies of white powder (which field-tested positive for cocaine), one in the glove box. One of the men said the substance found elsewhere in the car was his, but not the substance in the glove box, police said.

Tobias Deonte Fulton, 23, of West Paces Drive; Jasmine Harvey, 20, of Baxter Drive; and Joshua ONeal Kilgore, 24, of Tanners Bridge Circle, Bethlehem, were charged with cocaine possession; Fulton was also arrested on the warrant.
