BLOG: Voting at Chase Street

With no school Tuesday, some enterprising students at Chase Street Elementary School (with help from parents) had a bake sale near the polling place in the Chase Street cafeteria. Business was brisk early in the morning, when long lines of grownups formed to cast their general election ballots. By around noon, the line had for the most part vanished; Chase Street principal Adam Kurtz was in an out in about 10 minutes, he said. Here, Chase Street mom Melissa Cahnmann-Taylor shops. Looking on with interest are Chris Mojock with Dylan Mojock, 11, Lya Taylor, 7, Cameron Mjock, 8, and Evan Mojock, 6.
